ABS and KOMERI Forge Partnership to Enhance Marine Technology Research

In a significant move for the marine industry, ABS and the Korea Marine Equipment Research Institute (KOMERI) have signed an agreement at Offshore Korea to strengthen technology research and development in shipbuilding and marine sectors.

The collaboration will focus on utilizing research facilities and equipment, alongside testing and certification processes. Both organizations aim to enhance knowledge exchange and professional training through seminars and workshops.

Matthew Tremblay, ABS Vice President, emphasized the importance of industry partnerships, stating, "To make meaningful progress, we need pivotal industry collaborations like this one with KOMERI.
