Corinthians football fans and environmental activists are continuing the Corinthians Ecological Corridor (CEC) project in São Paulo, Brazil, throughout 2025. This initiative focuses on planting native Atlantic Forest trees around the Neo Química Arena to combat the urban heat island effect. The project continues to garner support from the São Paulo government, which provides seedlings and compost.

The project initially focused on planting trees along the route from Praça do Elefante Comunista to the green areas near the stadium. The initiative aims to extend planting to Itaquera Station along Radial Leste.

The CEC continues to host public workshops and planting events, encouraging participation from local residents and Corinthians fans. This ongoing project addresses the need for more green spaces in eastern São Paulo, helping to mitigate floods, droughts, fires, and air pollution. The Neo Química Arena, home to the Corinthians, is known for its modern architecture and commitment to sustainability.
