Villa dei Capolavori's Romantic Park: Restored Gardens and 'Flora' Exhibition in 2025

The Fondazione Magnani-Rocca is showcasing its restored Romantic Park surrounding the Villa dei Capolavori, featuring an English garden, an Italian garden, and a contemporary garden. The restoration, supported by the Ministry of Culture with Pnrr funds, highlights the park's landscape.

The park has three monumental trees: Cedrus libani, Sequoia sempervirens, and Platanus hybrida. The restoration also revitalized historical pathways and transformed a 19th-century lake into a modern biolake.

From March 15 to June 29, 2025, the Fondazione Magnani-Rocca hosts 'FLORA. The Enchantment of Flowers in Italian Art from the Twentieth Century to Today', an exhibition celebrating flowers through 150 works by Italian artists. The exhibition enhances the experience with immersion in nature.

The new contemporary garden, inspired by the New Perennial Movement, provides an immersive experience with seasonal colors and fragrances. The park includes collections of iris, magnolia and hydrangea.
