The Crypt Gallery in Seaford is hosting SCIP's 'The Garden Show', transforming the space into a vibrant botanical arts festival. This three-week exhibition celebrates nature and art with a diverse collection of floral-themed artworks.
The exhibition, running from June 25 to July 13, 2025, features fine art, ceramics, prints, and illustrations from artists like Hello Marine, Frances Doherty, Kit Boyd, Lisa Stubbs, and Graham Carter. Visitors can participate in free, hands-on art workshops, including cyanotype printing and creating Mexican-inspired floral headwear.
Community volunteers have created fungi sculptures for the gallery's medieval undercroft. The SCIP Studio will feature a paper rainforest created by the charity's youth group and paper artist Lauren Hayes. Films exploring the community's relationship with gardens and artist Abigail Brown's 'Living Sculpture' will also be showcased.
