Londrina is now home to Botânico, a new architectural project featuring landscape design by the renowned Escritório Burle Marx. This marks a significant addition to the city, bringing the vision of the 20th-century landscape master, Roberto Burle Marx, to life through his firm's continued work.
The Escritório Burle Marx, now in its third generation of landscape architects, continues Roberto Burle Marx's legacy. Their design philosophy integrates art, botany, architecture, ecology, and design, emphasizing organic forms and vibrant colors. The Botânico project showcases this approach, blending architecture and nature with tropical vegetation and water features.
Botânico offers diverse spaces for recreation, contemplation, and community engagement, reflecting Burle Marx's vision of creating functional and inclusive environments. The landscaping covers 12,000 square meters and includes a pool with a mural also designed by Escritório Burle Marx. The project aims to create a living space that reconnects residents with nature, offering a unique blend of well-being and artistic design.
