The Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Sargodha launched its annual Flora Festival as part of the Jashan-e-Baharan celebrations on April 17, 2025. The festival brings a vibrant display of flowers and recreational activities to the city's Company Bagh.
Director General of PHA, Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad, inaugurated the event, emphasizing the cultural significance of traditional fairs and their role in the region's heritage. He highlighted that the festival aligns with the vision of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Commissioner Muhammad Jahanzeb Awan, aiming to provide positive entertainment for citizens.
In solidarity with Gaza, the festival's duration was shortened to four days (April 16-19), and musical shows were canceled. The festival remains a symbol of seasonal joy and cultural unity in Sargodha, with PHA ensuring a healthy atmosphere through maintained parks and recreational activities.
