A "shepherd-type" dog was rescued in Vieil-Évreux, France, after being trapped for four days between two garages. The dog's incessant cries alerted residents to its predicament. The space between the garages was only 25 centimeters wide.
A team of fifteen rescuers, including animal specialists and a veterinarian, worked to free the dog. Firefighters carefully created an opening in the garage wall to avoid structural damage. The rescue operation was complex due to the confined space.
The dehydrated dog was taken to a veterinary clinic for treatment. Thanks to the dog's microchip, its owner was located and reunited with their missing companion. The owner had been searching for the dog since its disappearance.
