Endangered Animals Find Sanctuary: Da Nang Transfers Wildlife to Cuc Phuong National Park for Rehabilitation

Edited by: Olga N

Eighteen endangered wild animals, including sambars, macaques, and an Indian python, were transferred from Da Nang to Cuc Phuong National Park for care and rehabilitation. The effort, coordinated by the park, Save Vietnam's Wildlife, and the Da Nang Forest Protection Sub-Department, aims to enrich the gene pool and prepare the animals for future rewilding initiatives. Cuc Phuong National Park, known as Vietnam's "capital of conservation," houses thousands of endangered animals and runs recognized conservation programs.
