Indian Stock Market Rallies on April 15

On April 15, the Indian stock market witnessed a significant rally. This surge was influenced by volatility related to US tariffs.

At 9:15 am, the BSE Sensex climbed 1,386.47 points, marking a 1.84% increase to reach 76,543.73. The NSE Nifty also experienced gains, rising by 413.10 points, or 1.81%, to 23,241.65.

Tata Motors emerged as a leading gainer on the Sensex, increasing by 4.08% to ₹619.35. HDFC Bank and Bharti Airtel also contributed to the gains. The Auto Index led sectoral advances, rising by 1.93%.

The previous trading session, which closed positively on April 11, saw the Sensex up by 1.77% and the Nifty up by 1.92%. Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net sellers at ₹2,519.03 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) were net buyers at ₹3,759.27 crore.
