Maggie Rogers will address the 2025 graduating class of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. The singer-songwriter, a 2016 graduate of the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music, announced her participation on Instagram. She shared a photo from her own graduation nine years ago.
Tisch confirmed the announcement, naming Rogers as the 2025 Salute Honored Speaker. The ceremony is scheduled for May 16 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Rogers' career gained momentum after a 2016 masterclass led by Pharrell Williams at NYU.
Williams praised her then-unfinished song "Alaska," propelling her into the spotlight. Rogers has since released three albums, all charting on the Billboard 200. She also holds a master's degree from Harvard University.
