Jungkook's 'golden' album surpasses 5.5 billion streams globally

Jungkook of BTS continues to dominate the global music scene. His solo album 'GOLDEN' has surpassed 5.5 billion streams. This success highlights Jungkook's widespread appeal and influence.

Released in 2023, 'GOLDEN' is the most streamed album by an Asian male artist this year. The album accumulated 517 million streams in 2025 alone. As of May 28, the cumulative streams exceeded 5.5 billion.

'GOLDEN' has been on Spotify's "Weekly Top Song Global" chart for 77 weeks. Jungkook has been the most streamed K-pop male solo artist on Spotify for four years, from 2022 to 2025. He is also the first K-Pop solo artist to remain on Spotify's "Global Top Artist" chart for 100 weeks.

Jungkook's solo single 'Seven' has also achieved remarkable success. It surpassed 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams in record time. 'Seven' also topped Spotify's "Weekly Top Song Global" chart.

Jungkook's Spotify account reached 8.7 billion streams in the shortest period among all K-pop artists. He is the first K-pop solo artist to achieve this milestone. 'GOLDEN' debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart and remained for 25 weeks.

The album also charted for eight weeks on the UK's official "Top 100" album chart. 'GOLDEN' topped the Worldwide Apple Music album chart for K-Pop solo artists. It remained on the European Apple Music album chart for over 400 days.

Jungkook's 'GOLDEN' continues to resonate with audiences worldwide. His achievements on major global charts reflect his dedication and the impact of his music.
