Country music star Nate Smith is set to headline the opening day of the 2025 New York State Fair. Smith will perform at the NYS Fair's Suburban Park stage on Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 8 p.m.
The concert is free with admission to the Fair, which costs $8 for adults. Admission is free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.
Smith was named the Academy of Country Music's New Male Artist of the Year, Billboard's Rookie of the Year, and Amazon's Breakthrough Country Artist in 2024. His hits include "Whiskey on You," "World on Fire," and "I Like It" (with Alesso).
More than 40 national acts will perform at the NYS Fair this year. Chevy Court will feature two shows daily at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m., while Suburban Park will host an 8 p.m. concert each night.
The 2025 New York State Fair runs from Wednesday, Aug. 20, through Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1.
