Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2025 Inductees: Lauper, Outkast, White Stripes & More

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced its 2025 inductees, featuring a diverse lineup of artists spanning various genres. The ceremony will be held on November 8th in Los Angeles and streamed live on Disney+, with a special airing on ABC later.

Performer Category

First-time nominees Chubby Checker, Joe Cocker, and Bad Company are among those being inducted in the performer category. Cyndi Lauper, Outkast, The White Stripes, and Soundgarden will also be inducted.

Musical Influence, Excellence, and Ahmet Ertegun Awards

Salt-N-Pepa and Warren Zevon will receive the Musical Influence Award. Thom Bell, Nicky Hopkins, and Carol Kaye will each be awarded the Musical Excellence Award. The Ahmet Ertegun Award will be given to Lenny Waronker, recognizing his contributions as a record executive who signed Prince and R.E.M.

Inductees were chosen by over 1,200 artists, historians, and music industry professionals. Criteria included an artist's impact, career scope, and innovation. The announcement was made on American Idol by Ryan Seacrest.
