Gracie Abrams, the 25-year-old singer-songwriter, expressed her ambition to tour stadiums in a recent Billboard cover story. This aspiration comes after a significant career surge that saw her transition from theater-sized venues to arenas within months.

Abrams admitted that she didn't always envision herself performing in stadiums. Her perspective shifted after opening for Taylor Swift on the Eras Tour. The experience provided a visual reference and a real sense of the stadium environment.

Abrams supported Swift for six months across North American stadiums. She also headlined her own tours for albums Good Riddance (2023) and The Secret of Us (2024). Following her final Eras show, Abrams embarked on her first arena trek, including European shows and upcoming dates in Asia and Australia.

This summer, she'll return to the U.S. for more arena dates, including two nights at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Abrams has openly discussed how observing Swift on the Eras Tour has influenced her own performances. She also noted how Swift's experience has helped her navigate her increasing fame.

Abrams also praised Olivia Rodrigo, acknowledging the opportunity to open for her on the Sour Tour. Rodrigo reciprocated, highlighting Abrams' unique songwriting voice. She noted the rarity of developing such a distinct style at a young age.
