Montgomery Smooth Jazz Festival Returns with Star-Studded Lineup After Six-Month Delay: Boney James, Leela James, and More to Headline

After a six-month postponement, the Montgomery Smooth Jazz Festival is set to take place at the Riverwalk Amphitheater on March 14-15. The two-day event boasts a lineup of national jazz and R&B artists, including Boney James, Leela James, Evelyn "Champagne" King, and Julian Vaughn. The festival will also feature performances by Alex Bugnon, Ben Tankard, Marcus Anderson, Nelson Rangell, Day 26, Con Funk Shun, Trey Daniels, TK Soul, and James Wesley, among others. Local artist Amon Robinson will also be featured in a special spotlight segment. Julian Vaughn, named the No. 2 Artist of the year in 2020 with two Billboard-charting songs, "Afro Calypso" and "Afternoon Delight," will also perform. Boney James, a four-time Grammy nominee, will close out the festival on Saturday night. Tickets purchased for the original September dates will be honored.
