The Irish rock band, The Script, is set to headline the Glastonbury Extravaganza on August 9, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM at Glastonbury Abbey. This event, which began in 1996 as a classical music concert, has evolved to showcase a diverse range of musical genres, including pop and rock.
Previous headline acts have included renowned artists such as Tom Odell, Van Morrison, and Paloma Faith. The Script, famous for their hits like 'Hall of Fame' featuring Will.i.am, has enjoyed significant success with six Number One albums since their debut in 2008.
Tickets for the Extravaganza went on sale on November 20, priced at £50 for adults and £25 for children up to 16 years old. Remaining tickets will be available at £55 and £30 at the gate. Overnight camping options are also available at the foot of Glastonbury Tor, with shuttle bus services provided.
Event organizers have emphasized the importance of accessibility, noting that registered assistance dogs are permitted, while other animals are not allowed. The Park & Ride service will operate from Clarks Village car park starting at 3:30 PM, although it is not accessible for wheelchairs and electric scooters.
