Several major asset managers, including Franklin Templeton and VanEck, have filed spot ETF applications for Solana (SOL) with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) via the Cboe BZX Exchange.
The SEC has requested updates to the S-1 forms, particularly regarding in-kind redemptions and staking mechanisms, potentially accelerating the review process. This could lead to the approval of Solana spot ETFs within the next three to five weeks.
The price of SOL is currently at $151.86. A new crypto project, Snorter, a Telegram bot on the Solana blockchain, is gaining popularity.
