Ethereum (ETH) has experienced record inflows into accumulation addresses recently, reaching levels not seen since 2018. On April 22, a record 449,000 ETH, valued at an average price of $1,750, flowed into these addresses, marking the largest single-day inflow in Ethereum's history.
Despite this surge, holders in these accumulation addresses remain underwater, with a realized price of $1,981. This means that these holders are currently at a loss, as the current market price is below this level. As of today, April 25, 2025, the current price of Ethereum is around $1,774.
Ethereum's on-chain activity showed positive momentum between April 20 and 22, with active addresses rising by 10%, from 306,211 to 336,366. However, decentralized finance (DeFi) activity remains subdued, with decentralized exchange (DEX) volumes declining. A significant supply concentration exists at $1,895.50, a level to watch for potential resistance.
