Vietnam's Ministry of Finance, with technical assistance from Bybit, plans to launch a pilot crypto trading platform. The announcement was reported by Vietnam Investment Review on April 18.
The initiative addresses risks from unregulated crypto transactions, as highlighted by Finance Minister Ho Duc Phoc. Vietnam ranks fifth globally in crypto adoption, according to Chainalysis.
A draft resolution for the pilot platform is expected in early May. Bybit will assist in designing the platform, aiming for transparent and safe transactions under state management. On April 3, former Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao signed a memorandum with the Kyrgyz Republic to advise on blockchain growth.
