Ripple's XRP Aims for $19 Trillion Real-World Asset Tokenization by 2033

Edited by: Yuliya Shumai

Ripple, the company behind XRP, and Boston Consulting Group published a report on April 7, projecting a $19 trillion opportunity in tokenizing real-world assets (RWAs) by 2033. Currently, in 2025, an estimated $600 billion of assets are tokenized. XRP aims to be a key platform for this trend, facilitating lower costs, faster speeds, and reduced intermediaries for asset managers. Over $1 trillion in assets have already been traded on the XRP chain, including U.S. Treasuries. If XRP becomes the primary ledger for tokenized assets, it could significantly increase demand for the coin.
