Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $78,000 on Sunday, trading at $77,840, a 6% decline driven by investor reaction to volatility sparked by President Trump's tariff announcement. This follows the worst decline in US equities since 2020. Bitcoin is now down 28% from its January all-time high of $109,000. Over $247 million in Bitcoin long liquidations occurred in the 24 hours since Saturday, with Ethereum (ETH) facing $217 million in liquidations. Solana (SOL) also experienced declines of approximately 12%. The S&P Global Broad Market Index recorded a $7.46 trillion loss, with the U.S. stock market shedding $5.87 trillion.
