BlackRock's BUIDL Fund Distributes Record $4.17M in Dividends in March

BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund (BUIDL) distributed $4.17 million in dividends during March, marking the largest monthly payout for a tokenized Treasury fund. According to Securitize, BUIDL's issuer, this record-setting distribution brings cumulative dividend payments to $25.4 million since inception. The March payout is roughly 2x larger than the previous $2.1 million peak in July 2024. As of March 27, BUIDL's assets under management (AUM) reached an all-time high of $1.93 billion. Ethena Labs' USDtb uses the fund for 90% of its backing, with $1.29 billion exposure, accounting for 67% of the fund's total market value. On April 3, MakerDAO's Spark will vote on a $500 million investment in BUIDL.
