Institutional Investors Eye XRP and Solana Amid Regulatory Clarity

Edited by: Yuliya Shumai

A Coinbase Global survey in January revealed that 57% of institutional investors, managing over $1 billion in assets, see greater regulatory clarity as a key growth catalyst for the digital asset industry. This is particularly relevant for XRP and Solana. On March 19, the SEC dropped its lawsuit against Ripple, boosting XRP's price and suggesting XRP is not a security. Several firms have requested SEC approval for ETFs holding XRP and Solana. Approval would significantly increase accessibility to traditional financial capital. With the SEC's new task force launched in early March clarifying crypto regulations, institutional investment is expected to rise, potentially driving long-term price increases for these cryptocurrencies.
