On Tuesday, Chronicle, a blockchain data provider, announced it secured $12 million in seed funding led by Strobe Ventures. The funding round included participation from Galaxy Vision Hill, Brevan Howard Digital, Tioga Capital, and Fenbushi Capital, as well as angel investors such as Rune Christensen (Sky/MakerDAO founder) and Andre Cronje (founder of Sonic and Yearn). Chronicle, an oracle network, has processed over $20 billion in total value secured (TVS) since 2017. The company plans to use the capital to advance product development, expand partnerships, and strengthen compliance, aiming to bridge traditional finance and digital assets amid rising demand for real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, projected to become a multitrillion-dollar market by 2030.
