German space startup Isar Aerospace has received €150 million ($173 million) in funding from Eldridge Industries.

The investment aims to enhance the company's satellite launch services. CEO Daniel Metzler stated the company is addressing the growing global demand for space access.

Isar Aerospace's first test flight of the Spectrum rocket occurred in March 2025 from Norway. Although the rocket didn't reach orbit, the company considered the mission a success.

The Spectrum rocket is designed for small to medium satellite missions. The new funding will help strengthen Europe's aerospace sector, competing with SpaceX.
