Amazon has deployed its one-millionth robot, solidifying its position as the largest operator of industrial mobile robots. The milestone robot was delivered to a fulfillment center in Japan.
The company also introduced DeepFleet, a new generative AI model. This AI is designed to coordinate robot movements, improving travel time by 10%.
DeepFleet aims to speed up delivery times and cut operational costs. Amazon has over 750,000 robots in its fulfillment centers, using AI for tasks like heavy lifting and package sorting.
