Trade Advisor Downplays Tensions with Tesla CEO

Former Trump trade advisor Peter Navarro has dismissed Elon Musk's public criticism, including being called a "moron." Navarro stated that "everything is fine with Elon" and that he has "been called worse."

The disagreement stemmed from Musk's opposition to Trump's tariff policies. Musk criticized Navarro's understanding of Tesla's manufacturing, asserting that Tesla produces the most American-made cars.

Navarro also acknowledged Musk's contributions to addressing waste, fraud, and abuse. Despite differing views on trade, Navarro downplayed any significant tension between them.
