Luigi Ferrajoli Proposes Global Constitution and Action Against Elon Musk at CGIL Assembly

Edited by: Olga Sukhina

At the CGIL assembly in Rome, Italian jurist Luigi Ferrajoli presented a proposal for a global constitution to address worldwide crises. His proposition includes prohibiting arms production and establishing a global trust to manage essential resources. Ferrajoli also announced a universal class action lawsuit against Elon Musk, alleging undue enrichment through the privatization of space. He argues that this privatization violates the 1967 Outer Space Treaty, which establishes principles for the exploration and use of outer space, ensuring it benefits all countries. The treaty emphasizes that space is not subject to national appropriation.
