Nvidia, xAI Join Consortium to Expand US AI Infrastructure; $100 Billion Target

Nvidia and Elon Musk's xAI have joined the AI Infrastructure Partnership (AIP), a consortium backed by Microsoft, MGX, and BlackRock. The AIP aims to expand AI infrastructure in the U.S. with a target of raising $100 billion. This initiative follows President Trump's announcement of Stargate, a similar AI infrastructure project. The AIP will focus on funding data centers and energy facilities to power AI applications. GE Vernova and NextEra Energy will contribute to supply chain planning and energy solutions. Investments will prioritize U.S. partners and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development.
