Naira Under Pressure: Parallel Market Rate Reaches N1,610 per USD Amid Forex Supply Concerns in Nigeria

The exchange rate between the US dollar (USD) and Nigerian Naira (NGN) in the parallel market reached N1,610 per 1 USD on April 10, 2025. This rate, sourced from Bureau De Change (BDC) operators, reflects a buying rate of N1,600 and a selling rate of N1,610.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) maintains an official exchange rate of N1,629.93 per dollar. The official rate for the Saudi Riyal (SAR) is N409.43 for buying and N409.69 for selling.
