Rosneft Oil Company announced record-breaking revenue, EBITDA, and tax payments for 2024. Revenue increased by 10.7% to 10.1 trillion rubles, surpassing growth rates of Shell, Chevron, Exxon, Equinor, and Total. EBITDA grew by 0.8% to 3 trillion rubles, with a margin of 29.7%.
The company's tax payments to the Russian Federation's consolidated budget exceeded 6.1 trillion rubles, the highest in the company's history and the Russian market overall. Net profit attributable to shareholders reached 1.08 trillion rubles, the second-highest result despite increased borrowing rates and tax rate increases.
Capital expenditures totaled 1.4 trillion rubles, an 11.2% year-on-year increase. Hydrocarbon production reached 255.9 million tons of oil equivalent, including 184 million tons of oil and 87.5 billion cubic meters of gas. Rosneft maintained its position as Russia's largest independent gas producer, outperforming ExxonMobil, Shell, and Chevron in production volumes.
