Ukrainian Hryvnia Weakens: Dollar and Euro Rise in Exchange Rates Amid Interbank Stability

The average selling rate for the U.S. dollar has increased to 41.85 UAH, while the euro has risen to 45.55 UAH in Ukraine. This adjustment reflects a slight weakening of the hryvnia in cash exchange points. Today, dollars are being bought at an average rate of 41.35 UAH and euros at 44.85 UAH. On the interbank market, the American currency remains stable, fluctuating around 41.57-41.60 UAH/USD. The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia at 41.5658 UAH, marking a slight increase of 0.1263 UAH. The official euro rate is set at 45.3483 UAH, an increase of 0.1834 UAH. In 2024, the cumulative profit of the ten largest Ukrainian banks amounted to 267 billion UAH, which is 14% more than in 2023. The list includes five state-owned banks, three banks with foreign capital, and two private banks.
