More Than 900 Memorabilia Items from Iconic Hollywood Films Up for Auction

Movie buffs and collectors are in for a treat as a vast collection of Hollywood memorabilia goes up for auction. Heritage Auctions is hosting the event, offering over 900 items from iconic films.

The auction includes props, posters, and scripts from beloved movies like "Home Alone," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off," and "The Blues Brothers." A standout item is the sled from Orson Welles' "Citizen Kane," famously linked to the line "Rosebud."

The "Citizen Kane" sled has an opening bid of $250,000. Other notable items include a complete set of first-edition "Harry Potter" books signed by J.K. Rowling, with a minimum bid of $100,000.

Harrison Ford's whip from "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" is also available, starting at $200,000. Fans of "Star Wars" can bid on lightsabers used in the prequel trilogy, with individual lightsabers starting at $50,000.

Chicago-connected items are also featured, such as Macaulay Culkin's knit snow cap from "Home Alone," starting at $5,000. Matthew Broderick's military beret from "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" has an opening bid of $6,000.

A "Blues Brothers" duffel bag owned by John Belushi is available for $600. Hugh Hefner's "VIP #1" key to the Playboy Club is also up for bid, along with Hugh Laurie's cane from "House, M.D."

The auction, which includes items from "Doctor Who," the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and "Star Trek," is open through July 18 on Heritage Auctions' website.
