Frank Lloyd Wright's 'Fountainhead' residence in Jackson, Mississippi, is now on the market with a price tag of $2.5 million. This Usonian-style home, completed between 1950 and 1954, is the only Wright-designed property in the state.
The house, spanning 3,558 square feet, features three bedrooms and is located in Jackson's Fondren neighborhood. Its unique diamond-shaped design, based on a parallelogram, is a hallmark of Wright's innovative approach.
Originally commissioned by oil tycoon J. Willis Hughes, the home later underwent restoration. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is currently represented by Crescent Sotheby’s International Realty.
