A rare 1996 Dodge Viper RT/10 Carroll Shelby Edition is currently being auctioned. This roadster is one of only 19 examples of this exclusive model ever produced, making it a highly sought-after collector's item.
Carroll Shelby, known for his work with Ford, also contributed to the design of the Dodge Viper. This particular Shelby variant, built by Fitzgerald Motorsports, features several unique enhancements. These include a distinctive GTS Blue or Wimbledon White paint job with white racing stripes, a Cobra-style grille, and Shelby-branded accessories.
Beyond aesthetics, the Viper's 8.0-liter V-10 engine has been tuned to deliver 450 horsepower, a 35 hp increase. The suspension has also been upgraded with a new sway bar and shocks. Bidding has already topped $30,000.
