Edited by: alya_ myart

Designer Kim Jones is auctioning off some of his most coveted fashion items on Pharrell Williams' digital auction platform, Joopiter, to benefit the World Land Trust. The auction, running from February 27 to March 11, features rare pieces from Jones' personal collection, including items from Maison Martin Margiela, Helmut Lang, and a deadstock pair of Dior x Nike Air Jordan 1 High Sneakers numbered 0001/8500. These sneakers debuted at the Dior Men's pre-fall 2020 show and marked a significant moment in street style's rise to prominence.

The auction also includes design prototypes and one-of-a-kind samples, such as an original painting by Hajime Sorayama and a Dior seed embroidered shirt depicting a Kenny Scharf artwork. Jones stated his motivation for the auction stems from concerns about the decline in the world's wild vertebrate population, aiming to protect critical ecosystems for future generations through the World Land Trust.
