According to the village headman, Ali Özen, Ibrahimpaşa's location and appearance are attracting attention. He notes that the old stone houses, which were moved to the hillside in the 1980s due to the narrow streets of the valley settlement, offer a unique view to visitors hiking in the valley. Özen also mentioned their efforts to bring the village into tourism.
The village is also developing its tourism infrastructure, with boutique hotels now operating, reaching a total capacity of 250 beds. Özen stated that the village is one of the exemplary villages of Ürgüp, but it is still an undiscovered region. The Balkan Valley connects Ortahisar, Ibrahimpaşa, and Kavak. Visitors hiking from Ortahisar via the Balkan Valley on the Cappadocia Culture Road route can enjoy tea and coffee in the square after crossing the historical bridge before returning to Ortahisar or Ürgüp.
Mustafa Özkan, a villager, noted that their village has all the riches to become one of the tourist destinations and that they want to increase employment in the region with tourism investments.
