Ghibli Park Celebrates Spring 2025 with Special Events Anniversary Festivities

Studio Ghibli's Ghibli Park is hosting a vibrant spring season in 2025, filled with special events and celebrations. Located in Aichi Prefecture near Nagoya, Japan, the park continues to immerse visitors in the enchanting worlds of Studio Ghibli's beloved animated films.

Spring Events and Festivities

From March through April, Ghibli Park is offering a range of unique experiences. On March 16th, the Valley of Witches celebrates its one-year anniversary with a performance by Nagoya City's Toho High School Marching Band, playing familiar tunes from Ghibli movies. From March 21st to 23rd, visitors can enjoy "Ghibli Park's Acoustic World," using earphones to listen to synchronized music and sound effects that enhance the park's scenic areas.

On March 29th and 30th, Mononoke Village hosts a special "Ceramics Experience" in collaboration with the Aichi Ceramics Museum, where children and adults can create their own pottery. Additionally, from March 16th to April 25th, a stamp rally will be held within Ghibli Park and the wider Expo 2005 Aichi Commemorative Park. The "Wind Music Festival" on April 13th will feature various singers and instrumentalists performing at different locations throughout the park.

Ticket Information and Park Details

While some anniversary events are free, regular Ghibli Park admission requires pre-purchased tickets. As of April 2025, there are two main ticket options: the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Standard and the Ghibli Park O-Sanpo Day Pass Premium. The park is divided into five areas: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Dondoko Forest, Hill of Youth, Mononoke Village, and Valley of Witches. Each area offers unique attractions and recreations of scenes from Studio Ghibli films.
