The Recife Coffee Festival is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025. This year's event, running from May 4th to June 8th, features 39 coffee shops across the Recife metropolitan area and beyond. Each participating cafe offers a special menu consisting of coffee, a savory dish, and a dessert for a fixed price of R$ 41.90. The festival kicks off with 'Café na Rua,' a free coffee tasting event. It takes place on May 3rd from 9 am to 5 pm on Av. Rio Branco in Recife. Attendees can enjoy espressos, filtered coffees, and cappuccinos, along with an artisan fair, lectures, latte art contests, and cultural performances. The participating coffee shops span several cities, including Recife, Olinda, and Gravatá. Each cafe has crafted unique menus, showcasing the creativity of local baristas. Examples include Arte Café in Gravatá, offering a latte, Croque Monsieur, and Choux Cream, and Fridda Café in Jaboatão dos Guararapes, featuring a Geisha cappuccino, Muffuletta sandwich, and mini brownies.
