On August 25, 2026, Disney Cruise Line officially announced its return to the port of New York after a hiatus since 2023. The Disney Wish will arrive in the city in late September 2027 and will operate seven sailings ranging from four to seven nights.
The itineraries will cover Bermuda, the New England coast, and Atlantic Canada — regions where autumn foliage and maritime climate create a special atmosphere. Five of the seven sailings call at King's Wharf in Bermuda, and three of them include an additional day in port.
The return to New York is part of the company's broader strategy to expand its fleet and geography. At the same time, Disney Fantasy will increase the number of sailings from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and in December 2027 and spring 2028 will offer the Southern Caribbean with calls at Curaçao, Bonaire, Barbados, and Antigua.
For families from the northeastern United States, this means convenient access to cruises without long flights. At the same time, Disney combines its signature themed cruises Halloween on the High Seas with the opportunity to see real Canadian autumn and the historic ports of New England.
