David's Bridal Launches Its First Collection of Wedding Attire for Pets

Edited by: Svitlana Velhush

The American chain of bridal salons David's Bridal on 14 October 2026 presented the first collection of wedding clothing for pets in its history — the Puppy Love Collection. The line includes dresses, tuxedos, vests and accessories for dogs and cats that plan to take part in ceremonies as witnesses or simply as guests of honor.

The collection is positioned as an affordable alternative to expensive designer items: prices start at 11 dollars for an embroidered bandana, a two-piece suit with a bow tie costs about 65 dollars, and typical dresses for pets are around 40 dollars. The company also offers a service to sew miniature copies of the bride's actual wedding dress for a dog or cat, and such custom models can cost more than 300 dollars.

The presentation took place as part of New York Bridal Fashion Week: dog models walked the runway in ready-made and custom outfits. David's Bridal CEO Kelly Cook emphasized that pets have long since become full-fledged members of the family, and many couples want to see them at their wedding. According to a Rover survey, 81 % of grooms and brides planning a wedding intend to include animals in the ceremony.

The assortment includes tulle dresses with veils, formal tuxedos, shirts, vests and bow ties. The company states that it will be able to adapt any design to the measurements of a particular pet through its alterations service. For now the main focus is on dogs, but the collection description mentions the possibility of sewing for cats.

The launch reflects a growing trend: more and more owners view pets not simply as animals, but as equal participants in family events. David's Bridal, the largest bridal fashion retailer in North America, is thereby expanding its assortment and entering the market of pet-friendly accessories.

The collection is already available for order on the website davidsbridal.com.
