Georgina Challinor, a 24-year-old graphic designer at TMC Strategic Communications, is participating in the London Marathon on April 27th to raise money for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, a charity that was important to her granddad, Malcolm, who passed away in December 2021. Challinor has been training for six months, balancing work and caring for her one-year-old child. She has set a fundraising goal of £2,000 and has already raised nearly half of it. Her efforts include creating pet portraits for colleagues in exchange for donations. TMC Strategic Communications, where Challinor works, is a dog-friendly office and supports her fundraising efforts. Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, established in 1860, provides care and finds new homes for dogs and cats. The charity has rescued and rehomed more than 3.1 million animals.
