Virginia Girl Bakes Dog Treats to Support Local Animals!

Edited by: Екатерина С.

A Virginia Beach 7th grader has turned her love for animals into a heartwarming mission! Caroline Wetherington, a student at Norfolk Academy, started "Caroline's Barkery" during the pandemic. She bakes homemade peanut butter and pumpkin dog treats, ensuring all ingredients are safe for pups. Caroline sells these delicious treats and donates all the profits to the Virginia Beach SPCA. Over the years, she's raised over $6,100 worth of supplies for the animals. "It feels really good," Caroline says. "It feels like I'm making a difference in the community and impacting the animals that don't have as much as ones that are adopted." To support Caroline's Barkery, you can place an order online.
