Cbse Introduces Daily Affirmations for Student Well-being Starting 2025-26

Edited by: Olga N

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will implement daily positive affirmations in affiliated schools starting in the 2025-26 academic year. This initiative aims to enhance students' mental well-being and socio-emotional development. It aligns with CBSE's goal of promoting holistic student growth.

Positive affirmations are intended to build a healthy self-image, emotional strength, and a growth-oriented mindset. The board emphasizes that regular affirmation practice improves focus, confidence, and overall mental well-being. Schools are encouraged to introduce one or two age-appropriate affirmations each morning.

These affirmations, recited in both English and Hindi, will reflect values of respect, health, and self-regulation. CBSE encourages student involvement in creating and leading affirmations. This initiative is expected to foster a more supportive school environment and build student resilience.
