Curitiba, a UNESCO-designated Creative City of Design, will host World Creativity Day (WCD) from April 21-23, 2025, joining 67 cities worldwide in this UN-recognized event. The festival will feature over 50 free activities across locations like the Ópera de Arame and Pinhão Hub, including cultural attractions, workshops, and educational programs for all ages. The WCD promotes innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship as vital for sustainable development, aligning with the UN's World Creativity and Innovation Day on April 21. The 2025 edition, themed 'Creative Generations: Transforming Talents into Impact,' will involve approximately 60 volunteers. Registration is free via the WCD Curitiba website. Collab.Hub leads the event, with support from the City Hall, Curitiba Innovation and Development Agency, Cultural Foundation of Curitiba, Ventura Shopping, Impact Hub, Central Press, UniOpet, and other local partners. A highlight of the event is the 'Curitiba Mais Criativa' award, recognizing innovative projects with a positive community impact. Submissions are open until March 28, celebrating initiatives in visual arts, design, gastronomy, technology, and more.
