Samsung is reportedly developing two new mixed-reality (XR) glasses, codenamed Project Haean and Project Jinju, alongside its confirmed Galaxy XR headset (Project Moohan). These glasses are designed with a focus on portability and everyday use, featuring slim frames and integrated sensors, possibly including cameras. Sound transmission is expected through the frame itself. While the Galaxy XR headset is slated for a potential launch later this year with an estimated price of $2,500, the Haean and Jinju glasses' design and specifications are still under development. Haean, meaning 'coast' in Korean, is rumored to be a more compact model suitable for outdoor use, incorporating hand gesture recognition and an integrated sound system. The company aims to create XR devices that blend seamlessly into daily life, offering both immersive VR/AR experiences and practical augmented reality applications.
