Swiss International Air Lines is redesigning the interiors of 26 long-haul aircraft, including 12 Boeing 777-300s and 14 Airbus A330-300s, while also incorporating the new design into 10 new Airbus A350-900s. The "Silent Luxury" concept aims to provide passengers with a sense of calm and exclusivity through warm burgundy tones, soft lighting, and functional design. New features include redesigned galleys with darker lower areas for practicality and lighter upper areas for a more open feel, as well as redesigned lavatories featuring dark green and black fixtures. Economy and Premium Economy classes will feature earth-toned fabrics, adjustable leather headrests, and recycled polyester blankets. Business class will offer ergonomic seats with flexible adjustments for privacy or collaborative workspaces. The First Class "Senses" suites will offer maximum privacy with wood-look panels and marble-effect surfaces. However, the heavier First Class seats are causing weight distribution issues, particularly in the Airbus A330-300s, requiring the addition of counterweights to maintain stable flight.
