In a remarkable achievement, the Schlager duo Die Amigos has reclaimed the top spot on the German Album Charts with their latest release, "Stimmen der Nacht." This album, launched on September 20, has outperformed various competitors, including notable metal bands and even the legendary Bob Dylan.
According to the Official German Charts compiled by GfK Entertainment, Die Amigos surged to first place, pushing the metal band Nightwish's "Yesterwynde" and Kanonenfieber's "Die Urkatastrophe" to second and third, respectively. The rap duo Mehnersmoos secured the fourth position with their album "Neues von Mehnersmoos," while Bob Dylan & The Band's "The 1974 Live Recordings" rounded out the top five.
In the Single Charts, Linkin Park's new album "The Emptiness Machine" reached an impressive third consecutive chart peak. Shirin David's summer hit "Bauch, Beine, Po" took the second spot, while Ayliva & Apache 207's "Wunder" claimed third place. The Hamburg pop star Berq and newcomers Ufo361 featuring Paula Hartmann followed closely, landing in fourth and fifth places, respectively.
